Simpson attends London Hazzard premiere

Jessica Simpson will attend the London premiere of her movie The Dukes of Hazzard tonight.

The Texas-born singer makes her big screen acting debut as voluptuous Daisy Duke.

The movie is a remake of the late-70s and early-80s hit TV series about fast-driving southern country boys.

Until now, Simpson, 25, was best known for starring in a reality show with her singer husband Nick Lachey on Newlyweds. The blonde has since denied rumours that her marriage is in trouble.

Simpson is next set for the comedy Room Service, in which she will play a disinherited heiress working as a hotel maid.

Fellow stars Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott will also be attending the premiere in Leicester Square.

The Dukes of Hazzard opens nationwide on August 24.
