Mayo Rose tipped to reign in Tralee

Mayo Rose Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin is favourite to win this year's Rose of Tralee title.

The 22-year-old physicist is at 9/2 to win the contest, while Perth’s Fiona Stokes is second favourite at 11/2.

Limerick Rose Catríona Dwane and Clare’s Bláthnaid O’Donoghue are also tipped. Boylesports have given odds of 10/1 on the crown going to either county.

The festival begins in Tralee on Friday, with the Roses taking to the stage on Monday August 22 and Tuesday August 23.
