Top talent stranded on soulless The Island

A not-very-intriguing sci-fi from the Logan's Run school in which McGregor discovers he's really a clone and decides to make his escape with the aid of good doctor Buscemi and fellow-clone Johannson.

He also tries to expose the awful deeds being perpetrated in the evil lab.

It's a throwback to many of the old B movie black-and-whites with modern high-tech effects, none of which give the film any degree of humanity or soul.

There’s lots of action but it's a film going nowhere at a fast lick.
