Hawkins gets wedding ultimatum

Justin Hawkins' fiancee Sue Whitehouse has warned The Darkness frontman she will call off their engagement if he doesn't set a wedding date soon.

Whitehouse, who is also the band's manager, is furious the glam rocker pays attention to family concerns over her wishes and has ordered him to take more notice of her feelings.

And she is so desperate to become Mrs Hawkins she has even considered whisking him off for a surprise wedding.

She fumes: "We haven't even set a date yet - I'm beginning to think it will never happen. When families get involved in wedding plans it gets really messy trying to make everyone happy, and it's supposed to be my big day.

"I'd just love to elope but my mum would kill me."
