Bedingfield goes Bond

British pop star Natasha Bedingfield has won the coveted role of a Bond Girl in a computer game version of 1963 James Bond classic From Russia With Love.

The Single singer will star alongside 007 legend Sean Connery as the daughter of the British Prime Minister who gets kidnapped and taken to Russia in an adaptation of the original movie.

Bedingfield, who will also sing on the soundtrack, is "thrilled and delighted" to be on board - and hopes the project will herald a foray into the movie business.
