Jamelia requests midwife at festival

Heavily pregnant singer Jamelia is taking precautionary measures for her performances at Britain's V Festival this summer, and is ensuring there is a midwife backstage just in case.

The Thank You sensation and her soccer star boyfriend Darren Byfield still have two months to go until their baby is due, but Jamelia - who already has a four-year-old child, Teja, from a former romance - is determined not to leave anything to chance.

An insider says: "It's fantastic to have Jamelia on the line-up, but this must be the first time a midwife has been on standby with an access-all-areas ticket. Still if it makes her feel comfortable, then that's great."
