Tommy Lee runs in last

Tommy Lee was shocked to discover how unfit he was during filming for his forthcoming reality show Tommy Lee Goes To College.

The rocker threw himself at every activity while making the series, even athletics - but discovered at 42 he's far past his best.

The Motley Crue drummer says: "I tried out for the track team thinking I'm pretty fast. I ran some track in school, did hurdles, high jump and long jump. Then I'm watching these kids run… they whizzed past me.

"So I just decided to go with the rock-star thing - the speed walk with a cigarette and a martini."
