Mariah Carey to sing at MTV Video Music Awards

Mariah Carey and The Killers have joined the list of performers for the MTV Video Music Awards.

“We are working closely with Mariah and The Killers to present two of the most sensational show-stopping performances for this year’s VMAs,” said MTV President Christina Norman.

The 2005 Video Music Awards show, hosted by Sean “P Diddy” Combs, will be broadcast live from Miami on August 28.

Previously announced performers include Kanye West, Green Day and Kelly Clarkson.
