Ford reportedly dumps Eminem

Eminem's newly-formed business relationship with car manufacturing giant Ford has reportedly been severed over his new song 'Ass like that'.

The Detroit News reports that after happily allowing the Grammy-winning rapper to showcase the new Ford Fusion midsize sedan in the song's music video, Ford executives became concerned over the track's suggestive title and lyrics.

While bosses of the company had initially hoped to win over younger hip-hop fans with the Eminem connection, officials decided to sever ties with the star because of the song's vulgarity.

Ford spokesman Jon Harmon says: "It was just that the song was over the top. It just wasn't Ford.

A spokesman for Eminem says he isn't aware of any dealings with Ford.

On the track, the rapper praises the buttocks of a host of female stars, including Jessica Simpson, Gwen Stefani and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
