Johansson keen to work with Burton

Screen siren Scarlett Johansson is desperate to work with maverick director Tim Burton after hearing Ewan McGregor enthuse about the movie-maker on the set of The Island.

The Girl With A Pearl Earring beauty is worried her movie career lacks distinction, despite having already been hand-picked by acclaimed directors Woody Allen and Sophia Coppola.

The 20-year-old star believes working for the Charlie And The Chocolate Factory director would finally give her a classic role.

She says: "I definitely want to be in a Tim Burton film. That's right at the top of my list."
