Nine premieres set for Venice Film Festival
Nine Hollywood movie world premieres, including new films from Steven Soderberg and George Clooney, will form the glitzy core of this year's Venice International Film Festival, announced by the organisers.
Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ralph Fiennes, Kate Winslet, Matt Damon and Russell Crowe are just some of the stars expected to draw the crowds for the 62nd edition of the world's oldest film festival.
It has also been revealed that the threat of a terrorist strike in Italy this summer, given recent attacks in London and Egypt, is being taken seriously by the festival organisers.
