New Dr Who will dress geek-chic

Christopher Eccleston sent avid Doctor Who fans sprinting to the shops in search of his trademark leather jacket, but the 10th Doctor Who will have a very different wardrobe.

David Tennant will be sporting a new “geek chic” look. The doc’s latest outfit will include brown pinstripe suit, ankle-length brown coat and cream plimsolls.

Scottish actor Tennant, said: “I think we’ve come up with something distinctive that’s both timeless and modern, with a bit of geek chic and of course, a dash of Time Lord.

“Most importantly, Billie tells me she likes it. After all, she’s the one who has to see me in it for the next nine months.”
