Jobless Gruffudd living in hope

Screen hunk Ioan Gruffudd is out of a job and facing a career crisis despite having set Hollywood alight in this summer's blockbuster Fantastic Four.

The worried Welshman has been plunged into the classic plight of the unemployed actor, admitting he hasn't worked since last year and there is nothing on the horizon.

He says: "I finished filming Fantastic Four last Christmas and I haven't worked since then and I'm feeling a bit angsty and wondering when the next job will come.

"Of course you have to have the belief that yes, something will come up, but the reality is that you just never know. It's that competitive out there."
