Longoria: 'I never expected an Emmy'

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is philosophical about being ignored in the recent Emmy Award nominations, because she is far too new to even be considered for the award.

The nominations, which were announced earlier this month, include her co-stars Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman, but had no place for Longoria, who plays the adulterous Gabrielle Solis in the hit US series.
