Thornton 'proud' of Jolie

Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton is "proud" of his ex-wife Angelina Jolie for adopting her second child.

Thornton's three year marriage to Jolie ended in divorce in 2003, a year after they adopted Cambodian orphan Maddox. Thornton has since gone on to welcome his fourth child, Bella, into the world, while Jolie recently adopted Ethiopian orphan Zahara Marley.

And Bad Santa star Thornton admits he's extremely impressed with the way his ex-wife has embraced her maternal role.

He says: "Gosh, she's been amazing these last few years and I'm so proud of her and happy for her.

"She loves Maddox more than life, so I'm really happy for her."
