Scotty's ashes to be sent into space

Eighty-five-year-old actor James Doohan, who played Scotty in Star Trek and died yesterday, will be cremated and his ashes shot into space.

It’s a fitting end for a man who spent the majority of his on-screen career holed up in the engineering room of the Starship Enterprise.
