Show goes on for Sienna despite fling
Sienna Miller will appear on the West End stage tonight despite revelations that her fiancé Jude Law had an affair with his children’s nanny.
The 23-year-old is determined to put on a brave face and continue with her role as Celia in the production of As You Like It at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
“Sienna will definitely be appearing on stage as usual,” her spokeswoman said.
The actress was left heart-broken after Law, 32, admitted having a fling with nanny Daisy Wright.
Wright told a newspaper yesterday how Law seduced her in New Orleans where he was filming new movie All The King’s Men.
And last night the heart-throb actor issued a statement in which he publicly apologised to Miller, saying he was “deeply ashamed” of his behaviour.
He and Miller have been together for 18 months and became engaged on Christmas Day.
The couple are now in crisis talks over the future of their relationship.
A friend said: “Sienna and Jude are working out their problems.”
In his statement, Law said: “Following the reports in today’s papers, I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I’ve hurt Sienna and the people most close to us.
“I want to publicly apologise to Sienna and our respective families for the pain that I have caused. There is no defence for my actions which I sincerely regret and I ask that you respect our privacy at this very difficult time.”
