British band Oasis are to play Dublin's Point Theatre this December following their sold-out show at Marlay Park on Saturday night.

British band Oasis are to play Dublin's Point Theatre this December following their sold-out show at Marlay Park on Saturday night.

The gig on December 21 will be the band's last show of 2005, a year that has seen them tour the world extensively and play before 500,000 people in the UK alone.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday morning.
