Gabriel Byrne will be at the Edinburgh Film Festival opening next month of Richard E. Grant's directing debut, Wah-Wah, about a family living in 1960s Swaziland.

He will join Miranda Richardson, Julia Walters, Nicholas Hoult and Emily Watson for the opening.
