The latest - in a looong line - of actors talked up as possible replacements for Pierce Brosnan as the next 007 has opted for the silent treatment.

Welsh star Ioan Gruffudd, to be seen in Fantastic Four, has decided not to jinx his chances of the role and won't have it mentioned.
