Style and power in Von Trier's finale

In Your Hands (Metrodome) is the final film in Lars Von Trier’s Dogme 95 series, a stylish, evocative and very powerful drama.

Kate (Trine Dyrholm) has just been transferred from another prison, becomes emotionally involved with a warden and clashes with Jossi, whose drug dealing operation is threatened by Kate’s curing of drug addicted inmates.

Chaplain Anna (a wonderful performance from Eleonora Jorgensen) is unexpectedly pregnant, but her joy turns to shock when she discovers the baby may be born with mental or physical defects.

Both women face unique challenges and difficult choices, but events take an unexpected twist. One to watch.
