Following statements from police chiefs and London Mayor Ken Livingstone urging people to go about their daily business as usual, representatives of London’s theatreland announced today that they refused to be effected by the bombings, and that they would be open for business as usual this weekend.

Following statements from police chiefs and London Mayor Ken Livingstone urging people to go about their daily business as usual, representatives of London’s theatreland announced today that they refused to be effected by the bombings, and that they would be open for business as usual this weekend.

Many productions said extra security precautions would be taken, and that they would ask visitors to be vigilant, but insisted the shows would go on.
