U2 top US concert earners list

Rockers U2 have jumped to the top of the US concert earnings list in America after making $45.3m (€37.5m) in ticket receipts.

They beat Celine Dion to the top of the latest Billboard list, despite playing 46 shows less than her in 2005.

Elton John is America's third biggest earner, thanks to his Red Piano shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Other big earners making the top 10 on the new list are Josh Groban, Kenny Chesney, The Eagles and Motley Crue.
