Ash survive bus explosion

Northern Irish rockers Ash were lucky to survive when their tour bus exploded after a gig in Los Angeles.

The band were travelling north to San Francisco following a concert at LA's Knitting Factory when their sound man awoke them to tell them the bus was filling with smoke.
