A funny and observant film based, sort-of, on actual events. And a film well worth catching.

The plot involves the making of an 'educational' film about human reproduction in Spain for the Scandinavian market; which means it's really a porn movie.

The makers want their film to be an art house classic and eventually find it's a smash hit on release.

Torremolinos 73 pays wonderful sly tribute to all those Bergman epics, as well as to all the down-market bump 'n' grind movies and it's very witty.
