Beyoncé lines up solo projects
Sexy singer Beyonce Knowles has announced plans to take on a series of solo projects, just days after announcing that her group Destiny’s Child will disband.
Survivor hitmakers Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams announced earlier this month they'll no longer be a trio when their world tour comes to an end in September.
Crazy In Love singer Knowles, who has enjoyed phenomenal success as a solo artist, is planning on going back to the studio to record a single for The Pink Panther soundtrack, and she's hoping to do more music for the upcoming screen version of the musical Dreamgirls, which she starts shooting in December.
She tells MTV Europe: "I grew up listening to the soundtrack and hearing about that play.
"I wish I could have seen it in the flesh, but they're redoing it, and I'm so excited. For the first time, I feel that I'm going to be challenged."
But Beyonce is in no rush to record another solo album.
She adds: "I'm not sure if that's going to happen (anytime soon)."
