Jones longs for green, green grass of home

Tom Jones' first hometown concert for 40 years was such an emotional experience, the star wants to return to his Welsh homeland.

The singer made the announcement after the open air show attended by a staggering 20,000 fans.

The star said: "Hearing all the voices and eating the great food really did make me emotional."

Jones suggested the move could be for good, adding: "I will end up coming back, I know it now."

The Pontypridd gig celebrated Jones' 65th birthday earlier this month and took place near to where he grew up.
