Rebecca Loos was today “catching up” with model Calum Best away from television cameras after becoming the latest star to be evicted from ITV’s Celebrity Love Island.
The Beckhams’ former aide was given the boot from the show last night after receiving fewer votes from viewers than the other five remaining women.
She just shrugged and smiled as presenters Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook broke the news that she would be going.
Fellow contestants including Abi Titmuss, model Nikki Ziering and Jayne Middlemiss rushed over to hug her, but she said: “I’m fine.”
Rebecca was the fifth celebrity to be voted off the idyllic Fijian island since the competition began 31 days ago.
She had entertained viewers by embarking on a steamy affair with model Calum Best, who was a surprise eviction on Sunday.
Asked whether she was looking forward to seeing football legend George Best’s son again, Rebecca said: “Yes, I am.”
She grinned as Brook told her Calum was still on the island.
“We’ll be having a drink and catching up,” she said.
Former Hollyoaks star Paul Danan, ex-footballer Lee Sharpe, Lady Isabella Harvey and Atomic Kitten star Liz McClarnon are among the eight celebrities left in the dating game.
The show reaches its finale at the weekend when viewers will choose which couple should share the £100,000 prize (€150,700).
