McMahon in Bond talks

Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon has admitted he has been in talks with the producers of the next James Bond movie 'Casino Royale' about playing 007.

The 36-year-old insists that he still doesn't know what's going to happen.

The Australian actor also says his mother is "100%supportive" of his career, where he's often cast in bad guy roles and as plastic surgeon Christian Troy on 'Nip/Tuck', in which he has had several nude scenes.

He said his mother, who accompanied him on the red carpet at the recent Golden Globe awards where he was nominated for his role as Dr Troy "is so proud and so happy seeing me having realised my dream".
