Next book will mark new chapter - Bryson

Best-selling author Bill Bryson has promised his next book will be a “complete change” from his award-winning science work, A Short History of Nearly Everything.

The US-born writer behind travel tombs such as Notes from a Small Island and Down Under says he now aims to stay in Britain for good.
