Harvey 'won't be crippled': Manager
Brian Harvey's manager has slammed reports the former East 17 singer will be crippled for life, insisting it was too early to realise the extent of his injuries.
The Stay Another Day star, 30, is resting after undergoing 11 hours of surgery, following last Tuesday's accident when he was crushed under the wheels of his Mercedes car, outside his London home.
Yesterday, close friend Jonny Lisners gave a dismal forecast for Harvey, saying: "Brian may never walk again. He could be in hospital for anything up to one and a half years."
Harvey, who is suffering from clinical depression, was rushed to hospital last month after he collapsed at his home following an alleged overdose of sleeping tablets.
However, Harvey's manager Simon Harrison says: "Yesterday's reports are ridiculous because no one can tell. He hasn't really come round (since surgery). Brian is very heavily sedated."
