Family fun in this satisfying comedy

Fast-paced comedy with a manic nod in the direction of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, your basic "meet my new boyfriend" plot; with unfortunate results.

This time it's Jewish girl (Aguilera) who brings home Palestinian boy (Toledo) and on top of that he thinks he's killed her father with, curiously, a block of frozen soup.

Happily the film goes for the lighter side of such a potentially fraught Jewish-Arab romance - even if it does it at such a frantic pace - and the whole is a quirky and satisfying comedy.
