Ledger missing the waves

Aussie actor Heath Ledger's latest movie role as a junkie is wreaking havoc with his surfing hobby - because he can't go out in the sun.

The star is getting into character for his new film 'Candy' and admits living at the beach in Sydney, Australia is fast becoming torture - because he can't go out during the day. He has to stay pale, so he can only go for a walk on the beach as early as 7AM.

Plus he's also regretting his decision to buy a home in East Los Angeles - because he lives too far from the beach when he's there.
