Beckham slips out of celebrity dads top 10
David Beckham has failed to make it into the top 10 list of Celebrity Dads of the Year for the first time.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin, Sir Bob Geldof and badboy Liam Gallagher are among those up for the award.
The public has always voted the England footballer and father of three into the top 10 since the awards began.
But Beckham, 30, has been eclipsed this year by the likes of fellow footballers Jamie Redknapp and Michael Owen, Hollywood star Jude Law and presenter Vernon Kay.
Former Westlife star Brian McFadden won the inaugural award in 2003, and DJ Jono Coleman and Ground Force star Tommy Walsh both scooped the title last year.
Members of the public vote on the ability to combine a “hectic public life with the demands of parenting”.
The Epson Celebrity Dad of the Year Award will be announced following an online public vote on June 16.
