Stewart to be dad for seventh time

Veteran rocker Rod Stewart is reportedly set to be a father for the seventh time at the age of 60.

Stewart's photographer fiancee Penny Lancaster is pregnant with her first child, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

The former Faces singer split from second wife, supermodel Rachel Hunter in 1999 and their divorce is yet to be finalised. He proposed to Lancaster in March after a five-year relationship.

After their engagement, Lancaster, 34, said: "Rod and I definitely planning on having children. I love my work, but I just want to be with him, and have a baby."

According to the Mirror, Lancaster has since banned the subject of children from all interviews and at a recent photo shoot, stylists were advised to prepare more "versatile" clothes, instead of the beauty's trademark skimpy ensembles.

Stewart's manager Arnold Steifel says: "They are just devoted to each other. It just gets better and better and that will be a dream come true for them if they start a family."

Stewart has six children already from previous relationships and marriages, including Sarah; 41, Kimberly; 25, Sean; 24, Ruby; 17, Renee; 12 and Liam; 10.
