A drink-drive court case against Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson was adjourned today.

A drink-drive court case against Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson was adjourned today.

The 31-year-old, who plays taxi firm boss Steve McDonald, was due to appear before Macclesfield magistrates this afternoon charged with driving while drunk.

The case was brought forward to this morning and adjourned in his absence until June 8.

Gregson, real name Simon Gregory, was stopped by police while driving his Jaguar through Prestbury, Cheshire, on May 15.
