Spice Girls to reunite next year?
Singer Melanie Brown has given the clearest indication yet that the Spice Girls are to cave in to huge public demand and reform.
The Wannabe girlband became international superstars in the mid-1990s before splitting in 2000, and now the five piece are to reunite for a tenth anniversary gig in summer 2006.
During an interview on UK television show GMTV yesterday, Brown was asked if the British girl band are likely to reform.
She replied: "I think so. Hopefully, next year if we can get everything sorted out and together."
Brown also rubbished reports she no longer gets along with the other girls.
She said: "Emma (Bunton) and Melanie (Chisholm) have been to visit me and I'm going to be having tea with Geri (Halliwell) soon.
"I haven't seen Victoria (Beckham) because I've been working and I missed the christening of her sons Romeo and Brooklyn. But everything's cool on that front."
An insider adds: "None of the girls are doing amazingly in their solo careers so they see the benefit of getting together. They are considering playing at the new Wembley Stadium (in London) next summer."
