Sheridan reveals Letterman crush

Nicolette Sheridan has unveiled a secret she's been holding for years - she has a deep crush on comedian David Letterman.

The Desperate Housewives star made an appearance on Letterman's show on Wednesday night to promote the season finale of her hit show, and decided to make a revelation.

She told Letterman: "I have always been terrified to come on your show. Over the years I think that you've mellowed and I'm not such a hot head. I thought that we'd get into a fight and I'd just have to storm off the st age.

"But I'm so happy to be here because you are so smart, you are so funny and, to tell you the truth, I have a crush on you."

Letterman made the most of this information later on in the show, when he took the opportunity to rub Sheridan's knee when she told him about an injury she suffered while playing tennis on a recent trip to Tahiti.
