'No axe' for drink-drive charge Street star

Coronation Street bosses today ruled out suggestions that actor Simon Gregson would be axed after he was charged with drink-driving.

The soap star, who plays taxi firm boss Steve McDonald, was stopped in the early hours of Sunday by traffic police while driving his Jaguar.
