Stone confirms adoption report

Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone has confirmed reports she's adopted a baby boy.

The baby was born to "unknown and unrelated parents in Texas" on Saturday, Stone's publicist, Cindi Berger, said in a statement.

Stone, 47, has named the baby Laird Vonnie Stone.

The actress has a four-year-old son called Roan, who she adopted with then-husband Phil Bronstein.

Berger says: "Mommy and her boys are over the moon."

Stone is currently in London filming Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction.
