Stewart calls off London concert
Rocker Rod Stewart called off a concert tonight because of a throat infection.
Doctors have told the star to rest until his next show on Wednesday.
The 60-year-old was due to perform at Earls Court tonight following three concerts in Glasgow and two in Manchester.
There were fears Stewart would never sing again after a throat operation to remove cancerous growths in 2000.
The gravel-voiced singer had to axe two shows because of a throat infection in 2002. Tonight’s London concert will be rescheduled.
