Pitt and Blanchett linked with new project

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are said to be in negotiations to star in an adaptation of the F Scott Fitzgerald story The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.

The story focuses on an elderly man who gets younger as time passes and runs into complications when, at age 50, he falls in love with a woman 20 years his junior.

Pitt has been the subject of persistent speculation of a romance with Angelina Jolie.
