Lonely Akon storms to top of the charts

New hip-hop sensation Akon has scored a chart double by topping both the UK album and singles chart.

Akon’s Lonely has dumped (Is This The Way To) Amarillo by Tony Christie featuring Peter Kay from its seven-week stay at the singles chart top spot.
