50 Cent sold drugs to his own family

Rapper 50 Cent was such a good street hustler as a kid he used to sell drugs to his own family - without them knowing.

The In Da Club hitmaker became a well-known cocaine dealer in his native Queens, New York, after taking to the streets to support himself after his mother died when he was eight, and he knew he was good when he could sell his wares to his family members.

He explains: "Cocaine was like weed. I used to get a quarter gramme.

"So whenever my aunts and them would have a party or friends over, I'd offer to go get it for them.

"Since I had it already, I just walked around the block a few times."
