Minogue smarting at Neighbours snub
Pop beauty Kylie Minogue is upset with TV bosses for stopping her from starring in a one-off special celebrating the 20th anniversary of Australian soap Neighbours.
The Spinning Around star, who played Charlene Robinson in the daytime drama, wishes she could have joined Delta Goodrem and Russell Crowe in paying tribute to the show that launched their careers.
But her request to shoot her scenes in Britain, where she was performing her Showgirl tour, was denied.
She complains: "With my tour, I could only have done it if they filmed it in the UK. But they declined. It's a big shame."
