Outkast movie will hopefully play at cinemas

Andre 3000 is confident the forthcoming Outkast movie My life in Idlewild will be released in cinemas - although film bosses have yet to decide how it will be unleashed on the public.

Andre 3000, who stars in the Prohibition-era movie alongside his Outkast partner Big Boi, was amazed by the positive reaction My Life In Idlewild received at its first screening.

He tells British magazine Noir: "They're trying to decide right now if they are going to release it in theatres or not, but we'll see once the final cut is done.

"They've only seen one cut of it and it got a standing ovation for one cut, the music wasn't even in it. It was kind of like rough pieces, so we pray that it works."
