Charles and Camilla pip Jordan and Andre

The couple dubbed Dosh and Pecks, Jordan and Peter Andre, have been named one of Britain’s best-loved couples.

But royalty pipped the showbiz duo to the post – newlyweds Charles and Camilla topped the Disney poll of Britain’s most treasured celebrity couple with 18%.

Jordan and Peter shared second place with Madonna and Guy Ritchie at 11%. The survey was carried out to coincide with the release of Disney’s National Treasure on DVD.

The real Posh and Becks didn’t figure in the poll, Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy figured as the nation’s favourite footballer and singer ensemble.
