Alan Partridge movie planned

Steve Coogan's comedy alter-ego Alan Partrige is set to star in his own movie - even though Partridge's co-creator Armando Iannucci is against the idea.

Coogan is keen to resurrect the irritating radio presenter and a spokesman for Coogan's production company said: "It's in the pipeline but we don't have any definite date."
