Kasabian guitarist injured during gig

The first date in indie band Kasabian’s latest UK tour was dramatically cut short last night after a bottle was flung from the audience, cutting open the guitarist’s head.

Serge Pizzorno needed six stitches in his forehead and was told by a doctor he could not go back onstage at Glasgow’s Carling Academy, despite wanting to continue.
