Christina Ricci, Shannon Elizaberth, Portia deRossi, Jesse Eisenberg
Wes Craven can rightly be considered the Hollywood master of horror, quality horror. Though not in this case.
Here he has sadly produced a film which is neither truly terrifying - only in its awfulness - nor memorable. It is merely a ragbag collection of every sell-by-date horror cliché drained of even the merest passing hint of originality.
What remains scary is that such class performers as Ricci, deRossi and Eisenberg should have fetched up in it.
